Mali Samaja (this website, at whichever domain you're reading this on) is a community portal for the Mali community, built and operated by Vikaas Infina. This policy covers this website only. The separate Mali Matcher matchmaking app, linked from our Matcher page, is its own service with its own privacy policy — please refer to that app for how it handles matrimony profile data.

• Account information — when you sign in, we collect your name, email address and/or phone number, and, if you use Google Sign-In, the name, email and profile photo Google shares with us.
• Contact form submissions — your name, email, optional phone number, and the message you send us.
• Chapter and event activity — chapters you follow, events you create or register interest in, and related activity within your account.
• Technical information — standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) generated automatically by visiting the site.

We use the information above to:

• Create and maintain your account, and let you sign back in.
• Show you chapters and events relevant to you, and let you take part in them.
• Respond to messages you send through the contact form.
• Keep the site secure and working correctly.

We do not use your information for automated advertising or sell it to data brokers.

We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and remember your language preference — not third-party tracking or advertising cookies. See our Cookies Policy for the full detail.

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site (for example, Firebase for sign-in and hosting), and only to the extent needed for them to provide that service, or where required by law.

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email us at malisamajaofficial@gmail.com — we don't yet have automated self-service deletion on this site, so requests are handled manually and confirmed by email.

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information at any time by emailing malisamajaofficial@gmail.com.

This site is not directed at children under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
